The Unpardonable Sin and the Kaballist Pharisees
Author Message
Post Re: The Unpardonable Sin and the Kaballist Pharisees
Here is the bottom line on my opinion of the unpardonable sin. The big hallmark of this dispensation is the Grace of God. I capitalized the word because it is more than worthy of it....maybe the word should be all caps...GRACE!!! This is the real heart of the gospel, what Timothy refers to as "the mystery of the faith" 1 Tim. 3:9. Without getting too side-tracked here, I will attempt to explain this verse briefly. One holds the mystery of the faith (grace) in a pure conscience when one doesnt try to mix grace and works. Deacons were not called to be preachers or evangelists (any more so than every other believer). They served the practical needs of the church ("serving tables" Acts 6:2). In serving the Lord and His church in such a practical and visible way, the temptation would be for them to be puffed up, or for others to esteem them more highly than they ought. Holding the Grace of God in a pure conscience, their speech and conduct with other believers (or anyone else) would be marked by the humility, submission to authority, and the recognition of spiritual equality that can only be the fruit of the Holy Spirit. This attitude and way of co-existing with other believers cannot be faked (at least for very long).

In this dispensation of Grace, anyone can be saved. All human sin was paid for at the Cross. The sin of unbelief was also paid for at the cross ! Someone who is committing this sin, if he repents of it ( meaning he changes his mind and moves from unbelief to belief) will be forgiven. As to the question of someone going too far into unbelief, going "past the point of no return" we cannot know the truth of such a matter as we cannot read hearts, so we should be satisfied to leave the matter to God, and continue striving to "preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ; And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ: " Eph. 3:8-9
