Excellent Ideas. Every week buy a little more. Amazing what you will have in six months! 8-)

Re: Preparation: Long term survival supplies for your house
Doing this for over a year. Have tried to get others interested in a survival co-op with a loose plan. No takers...they just don't get it. Heck I tried to get my family to sell out during the peak of the bubble...we would have plenty....then....to pool together for the "family compound". They thought I was being a bit of an alarmist nut. Well, of course they were right about this part. But being an alarmist nut didn't make me wrong!

Re: Preparation: Long term survival supplies for your house
I mentioned this to you Pastor Dave back in Feb. 09 about my intuition (I believe from God) of a coming food shortage and to prepare as Joseph did in Egypt. You replied it was not necessary as the Body of Christ would be removed before a famine. Why the change of heart? Since that talk I have not stored anything and I do feel now that I wasted valuable time and funds I directed elsewhere. That was my choice of course, not blaming anyone, but it appears you think it is a good idea now to stockpile food and supplies?

Debra, the famine associated with the Four Horseman is what I was referring to in our talks concerning famine, and your intuition. Plus, where do you get that I said to stockpile supplies? However, putting away some long lasting food supplies is NEVER a bad idea, as well as bottled distilled water. What...do you think we should be in panic mode? 8-)

Re: Preparation: Long term survival supplies for your house
Pastor Dave I'm not suggesting for anyone to panic. I'm certainly not. I'm aware that was what you were referring to as the famine of revelations. This was pointed out in our discussion back then, and I understand it. As far as "stockpiling" goes, it means to accumulate for a future use; but again I wasn't implying a panic situation or fear mongering. I agree it is a great idea to be prepared for an emergency of any nature. I'm just saying when I told you my plans to gather extra food supplies, and asked you sincerely if the Lord had put something in your heart about it as well, you told me "no" and it was not necessary. Now it appears that you do think it should be done, because you stated that in your reply post to Christy's post. It is perfectly okay to change your mind, just wondered why you did --that's all. :!: :|
