Dear Friends,
Let me preface this entry by stating the reason for this post is not to frighten, sensationalize, condemn, or slander any individual or group. The purpose is to inform the unsuspecting consumer about the hidden agenda. This way, you can make an informed choice, not just an emotional choice, about the music you listen to. As all studies conclude, music, like the food, drink, and air you breathe, has real, lasting effects on your brain and cells. This very powerful force can be positive or detrimental to your health. It is written from a Christian viewpoint, but is based on facts and beneficial to everyone.
I think most everyone would agree our world is full of evil doings. However most people don't know that for most of our lives we have been listening to and paying for music made by musicians that are truly evil. Something that is supposed to be solely for our enjoyment and pleasure is tainted with evil messages and intent. I too was blind to all of this until 1999. I figured if there were any satanic references made, whether in the music, dress, or stage settings, that it was "all for show--a marketing ploy." After viewing a program about the origins of rock, I began my own research and was amazed at what I found. In this blog I will discuss 2 musicians, Ozzy Osborne and Bob Dylan. These men are just two of thousands of entertainers with the same agenda but I chose them to demonstrate because most people know who they are and have heard their music at some point in their life.
I saw a TV interview a few years ago with Geezer Butler (he is the bass guitar player for Black Sabbath) where he said the same things, so I have no doubt it is all true. I heard it with my own ears. There are footnotes to prove that these are real quotes. This info is also available on the DVD " They Sold Their Souls for Rock n Roll". The section below was copied from www.jesus-is-savior.com:

Ozzy's claim to fame was the lead singer of the heavy metal group Black Sabbath. Singing songs filled with doom, evil, the occult, Satan and destruction, Black Sabbath's music has been appropriately referred to as "Satan Rock". (Nativity In Black), from their first album, is one of the most openly satanic songs ever recorded. It is a love-song from Lucifer. In the song, Ozzy sings in the first person as a loving, gift-giving Lucifer. . . And Ozzy, a.k.a Lucifer, openly invites the listener to "take Lucifer's hand".

Their namesake song Black Sabbath, in which Ozzy sings of a smiling Satan appearing as a black shape with eyes of fire, was taken from an actual,
demonic visitation of Sabbath bassist Geezer Butler.
"Having borrowed a 16th century tome [book] of black magic from [Ozzy] Osbourne one afternoon, Butler awoke that night to find a black shape
staring balefully at him from the foot of his bed. After a few frightening moments, the figure slowly vanished into thin air. . . I told Ozzy about it. It stuck in his mind, and when we started playing 'Black Sabbath,' he just came out with those lyrics. . . It had to come out, and it eventually did in that song – and then there was only one possible name for the band, really!'" (Geezer Butler, Guitar World, July 2001, p. 67)

Circus magazine candidly writes of Satan's message in the song Black Sabbath: "Ozzy portrays a man beyond redemption who's confronted by a 'black shape with eyes of fire' – Satan." (Circus, May 31, 1984, p. 59)
The dark history of Black Sabbath is filled with very real, demonic, supernatural visitations and experiences. "While rehearsing new material, the band formerly known as Earth experienced a supernatural experience. Geezer and Tony were playing new riffs for Ozzy and Bill when, much to everyone's surprise, they both strummed the same notes at the same tempo – although neither had ever before heard the other one play the piece! Convinced that this was an omen, Geezer christened the song and the group Black Sabbath,. . ." (Black Sabbath: The Ozzy Osbourne Years, p. 8)
"I'd sort of dabbled in Black Magic, not practicing it, but I was interested in it. All these horrible things kept happening to me – a lot of my aunts and uncles started dying and I was seeing all these bloody things visiting me during the night." (Geezer, Seconds, 39, pp. 63-64)
"I was seeing all kinds of things at the time, and not through drugs,' Butler reveals. 'Ever since I was a kid, I'd have premonitions and weird things would appear to me.'" (Geezer Butler, Guitar World, July 2001, p. 67)
"Geezer's encounters with the supernatural continued. During recording of Sabbath Bloody Sabbath in Bel Air, the bassist felt an ominous presence fill his bedroom. He looked up to see several specters glaring at him from above with overpowering effect. Awash with fear, he immediately awakened Bill, Tony, and Ozzy to tell them what has happened. Geezer soon discovered that all of his fellow bandmates had experienced similar events. . . To
Sabbath it was obvious that a dark, ominous cloud was looming over them." (Black Sabbath: The Ozzy Osbourne Years, p. 19)
Bill Ward, drummer for Sabbath, admits there was a supernatural presence that inspired Sabbath. It was so real that Ward confesses, it was as if
there was actually a "fifth member" in the group. "I believe that Black Sabbath was a phenomenon. On that basis, when I look back now at the band, I have felt that there was a fifth member, if you like. . . So I've always considered that there was some way where we were able to channel energy, and that energy was able to be, from another source, if you like, like a higher power or something, that was actually doing the work. I've often thought of us just being actually just the earthly beings that played the music because it was uncanny. Some of this music came out extremely uncanny." (Mike Stark, Black Sabbath An Oral History, p. 6)
Sabbath's album "Sabbath Bloody Sabbath" displays on the cover demons possessing a man while a skull with Satan's "mark of the beast" 666 beams
across the top. One of their album's was truthful titled, "We Sold Our Soul for Rock and Roll". The most frightening and enlightening statement concerning Black Sabbath's real beliefs was made by drummer Bill Ward in Circus magazine:
"We're into god" defended Iommi, an avid reader on books on astral projection. 'BUT SOMETIMES I FEEL SATAN IS GOD.' Ward countered." (Circus, May 31, 1984, p. 59)

This last quote alone speaks a thousand words. Remember, when these artists are standing at the podium, receiving their grammys, and they "give thanks to god"........do you really believe it is the God of Abraham? No, don't be fooled. When they mention god in the liner notes of their CD's, or on their website........do you really believe it is the God of Israel? No, don't be fooled. They wear a cross on a chain, surely they must be Christian, right? No, don't be fooled by a piece of jewelry.
Their god is the devil. The "small g" god. God created him. The devil is powerful and has authority over the world, but his power is conditional on us ACCEPTING his power. Do not accept his temptations, and he will flee from you (for a while). Accepting the temptation is sin. Satan even tempted Jesus, offering Jesus all the kingdoms of the world with all their power and glory, if Jesus would just accept his offer to worship him. (see Luke 4: 1  -13) Satan wanted to be worshiped by Jesus. He wants to be worshiped (idolized) today. This is what got him thrown out of Heaven in the first place, his pride. He wanted to ascend into heaven, exalt his throne above the stars of God, and be like the Most High! (see Isaiah 14:12-15 ) The people in the entertainment business want the glory and the wealth, to be idolized.........American Idol, anyone? Yet those foolish and greedy enough to fall for the devil's deals and lies always pay their price in the end.

So what is your conclusion about it all? Ozzy is still deeply involved and it is more than an "image" thing.....he still promotes the devil in his Ozzfest Tours and the Ozzfest cd's. I saw a poster for the Ozzfest and it said Music from Hell, and had all these demons on it. Also his other Ozzfest posters have devils on them. You can find them online, just look for yourself, Years 2002, 2003. So many people were duped by his reality TV show, convinced he is nothing more than a harmless over the hill headbanger who just uses too many drugs. It is not a marketing ploy people, this is his real life--dedicated to Satan. If he really converted to loving Jesus he would have had to change his whole image including not performimg the old music. He hasn't. He still calls himself the "f**king prince of darkness" and wears it proudly.
Ozzy's STILL at it today, giving homage to his master, as evident all the Ozzfest posters such as the one below. Note the various satanic hand symbols, upside down crucifixes, devil's goat horns growing out of his helmet, and fangs.

BOB DYLAN OPENLY ADMITS HIS CONNECTION WITH SATAN AND THE DUES HE OWES HIM FOR HIS SUCCESSFUL CAREER:
Here is an excerpt from the interview of Bob Dylan which was his first interview in 20 years:
60 Minutes correspondent Ed Bradley questioning Dylan on Dec. 5, 2004:
Bradley: "Why do you still do it--why are you still out there? (performing),
Dylan replied: "Well, it goes back to that destiny thing. I mean, I MADE A BARGAIN WITH IT,..... You know, a long time ago and...I'm holding up my end."
Bradley asked: "What was your bargain? "
Dylan replied: "To get where....um...I am now."
When Bradley asked, "Should I ask who you made the bargain with?"
Dylan lets out a small laugh and starts stuttering: "With...with...with.....uh....you know the chief, uh......chief commander" (this is the ONLY time Dylan breaks from his somber mood)
Bradley: "Of this earth*?" *(which is Satan)
Dylan: "Of this earth and then uh....in a world we can't see"
Dylan says this while looking down and shaking his head, perhaps he cannot hide his shame for what he has done. His only smile fades back to the stone faced expression he kept throughout his interview.
Bob Dylan is not referring to the Easter Bunny. He is talking about Satan and his allegiance to him. He cut a deal with the devil (for real!) and must continue to pay his dues.
As to how he wrote his songs early in his career : "I don't know how I got to write those songs. Those early songs were almost magically written," says Dylan. "Try to sit down and write something like that. There's a magic to that, and it's not Siegfried and Roy kind of magic, you know? It's a different kind of a penetrating magic. And, you know, I did it. I did it at one time."
I watched this interview on TV and could not believe my ears. He made no effort to hide the truth about his satanic deal. Some bargain, earthly fame for an eternity in hell. To top it all off, Dylan has a gigantic Eye of Horus on a super-sized banner displayed behind him when on stage. For those that don't know, this eye is an ancient egyptian symbol of the god of the sky, the right eye pertaining to the sun, and the left eye the moon. He proudly displays this occultic banner at all his concerts and on his CD. Since then, the eye of horus has enjoyed a huge rush of popularity with those that get tattoos. What is sad, is that most people probably don't know that their eye of horus tattoo is honoring Satan.
Udjat - or all seeing eye. Also known as the god horus, the all seeing one eye god, one of few symbols referring to Lucifer (king of hell) also known as Osisis (horus grown up). Below the eye is a tear (used by many gang members as a tattoo below their eye) because he "mourns for those outside his influence." Horus (also known as the god Ra) was the Son of the goddess Isis.
Also, notice the stylized curved horns inside the crown in the Dylan emblem. Another homage to the devil, crowning him as king, whose horns are depicted as curved goat horns. The Occult, Witchcraft and Satanism rely heavily on symbolism...symbols are used to cast spells and summon powers of "spirit guides" (demons).

Bob Dylan was awarded with the special citation on Monday, April 7, making history as the first rock and roll artist to be honored. Singer, songwriter, author, musician, and poet, was recognized for his "profound impact on popular music and American culture, marked by lyrical compositions of extraordinary poetic power." WOW. The first rock & roll artist to be honored. Gee I wonder how that happened.
They were right about one thing: Dylan did make a profound impact on music and culture. I've heard many, many artists attribute Dylan as an influence. Just about every who's who in music, from the Beatles and the Rolling Stones to Fleetwood Mac and the Black Crowes all give a nod to Dylan as the one who started it all for them. Is it coincidental that they too became involved in satanism and/or the occult? Not at all. It's all an evil lineage, a family of sorts. Just like Christians view themselves as brothers and sisters in Christ, so do those that get involved with the dark side--they feel connected to one another. And just like Bob Dylan, they all will have to pay the price for their deals of fame and fortune with the "chief commander of this earth and the world we can't see". (thanks Bob, for the quote).
I did a lot of research and composed a list of artists that are involved in the occult or satanism, they are further down in this article. (they're the same thing according to God). What is sad is that approximately 95% of the music and musicians we (the public) have loved for decades take part in this.....some discretely, some blatantly. Not to be outdone, rapper, country and "christian" artists are just as into it as the heavy metal bands of the past. I didn't even mention all the backmasking (hidden words heard when played backwards) done in music! Another time......
At this point I would like to give you a loving warning, and that is, search your heart for the right thing to do. Like I always say, don't just take MY word for it, do your own research and see what you find. For myself, I made the decision to throw away or delete all the music I owned that I knew the artists were into the occult. I admit it was a very tough decision, but I want to honor God. When I hear them on the radio, I change the station. Music I used to love I withdrew from, for the sake of my soul and my MIND, but mostly for the love of God. Don't worry, I guarantee you won't miss your tunes--the Lord will see to that. If you truly love God, and you know that a musician or group is into satanism and the occult, why would you continue to pay homage to that person? You can't love both the devil and God.
1 Corinthians 10:21 states: "Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord's table, and of the table of devils".
Think about it. Satanism in the music industry is REAL, and it's not going away (until Jesus returns). Use discernment! "It is better to hear the rebuke of the wise, than for a man to hear the song of fools." Ecclesiastes 7:5
Now, here is a list of SOME of the artists I have found and compiled through my extensive research that are directly involved in Satanism, occult, backmasking, etc. There are many, many others of course, but I left out most of the obvious bands that blatantly engage in Satanism and the occult, that a person with any logical discernment would catch by observation of their lyrics, albums, or CD's. No doubt the majority on this list will leave you in utter surprise to see that they are not the wholesome entertainers the world thinks they are. Some of these named artists are very secretive about hiding their real agenda ( engaging the use of symbols and backmasking ) but have been proven to be corrupted and evil, and others have willingly admitted their involvement through their songs and interviews. I have personally witnessed many of these musical celebrities interviewed on television, and read their own words in interviews in print. In all cases, the stars themselves told their story so there is no doubt in my mind that any of the claims are false. Some of them showed fear when they talked about their experiences.

Of course those listed are mostly "classic rock" artists. Still many thousands, if not hundreds of thousands of people, enjoy their music. Plus, the music industry calls their music "Evergreen Songs". You can hear these songs everywhere----on TV shows, commercials, movies, shopping at your local mall, ringtones, etc. These music executives are fully aware of hidden nature and power of these songs.
A good example of "Evergreen songs" would be those by ELTON JOHN. His music is accepted by young and old alike. Always popular, Elton has been "Knighted" by the Queen of England, played at Princess Diana's funeral, and has an openly gay "marriage" while being the darling of the elite. Here is some info below about him that I copied from the website "Jesus-is-savior.com".
In 1991, Bernie Taupin (who has written most of Elton John's lyrics) self-published a book of poems called The Devil at High Noon. Taupin admits that he decorates his walls with "satanic art" and has further declared that, "the occult fascinates me" (People, June 23, 1980).
Some of Elton John's songs (most notably, "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road") have allegedly been written in witch language. Bernie Taupin, his co-writer, said that "John's home is laden with trinkets and books relating to Satanism and witchcraft" (US, July 22, 1980, p. 42).
Many artists, like Elton John and Bernie Taupin, recognize the Devil's hand in their success, and realize that their fans do not have a clue that they are being deceived by demons. Elton John has admitted that he is deceiving his fans, "Its all a big con," and adds, "But as long as the public laps it up, I'm quite happy to go on giving it to them." The "owl" is notorious in Satanism, representative of the pagan god Lilith, and is worshipped at the occult Bohemian Grove ceremony held every year, just north of San Francisco, California. Lilith appears as a succubus in Aleister Crowley's De Arte Magica. Lilith was also one of the middle names of Crowley's first child, Ma Ahathoor Hecate Sappho Jezebel Lilith Crowley (b. 1904, d.1906). She is sometimes identified with Babylon in Thelemic writings. Owl's are an important symbol to witches and occultists. Lest you think it a stretch of the imagination to label Elton John's "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road" as occultic, consider the lyrics to another one of his songs...

Proof you don't have to a be a hard rock artist to be wicked and involved with the devil. Elton John has been laughing all the way to the bank while the public "laps it up" (his words, not mine).

Miller told detectives he was possessed and he visualized his wife, Adreana Miller, as a demon. Just before stabbing her at 4 a.m., he told police he started screaming lyrics from an Eminem song, saying, "Here comes Satan, I'm the anti-Christ, I'm going to kill you." When asked if he had ever had these types of thoughts before, he said, "Never... It just hit me like a brick in the face. I don't even know why I did it."
For the past 18 years, RAP music is the most popular vessel used to promote Satan-----Jay Z, Three 6 Mafia (666), 50 Cent, and Snoop Dogg leading the pack among hundreds. They talk about Satan all the time in hip-hop and rap music! Even my teenage son acknowledges this. There are Death-Rap or Hard-core rap performers just like in heavy metal. Songs written about and dedicated to Satan, and the use of occultic and satanic symbols are even more rampant in rap than heavy metal--and it isn't mostly hidden, it's right out there loud and clear! The HUGE amount of violence, drug use references, sex, and profanity ALONE in the rap lyrics and music videos should be a good enough reason not to listen to it. It really is alarming that people don't realize how powerful music is, but the artists realize it and use it to their own evil agenda.
Jay Z was THE highest paid musical artist in 2007. He made $83 MILLION dollars. His new wife Beyonce made $27 MILLION. Not too shabby Their masonic handgestures and symbols are everywhere in their videos. Remember, just like Bob Dylan, they must pay their respect to the chief commander (Satan) that brought them all their success. The tradeoff is they try to brainwash us while we make them rich.
Jay Z's song "LUCIFER" is considered his best song off his "Black Album". The song has a woman singing "Lucifer Lucifer son of the morning"......over and over. The repetiton is meant to ingrain the name of Lucifer in your thoughts. Toward the end of the song she adds to the line "I'm gonna chase you outta da earf " (out of the earth).
Because of the clever way it is written, people are fooled to think this song is about condemning Lucifer for making him want to take revenge to kill someone. But what about this verse:
I'll let you see where that bright light lead you
The more you talk the more you irkin us
The more you gonna need memorial services
The Black Albums second verse is like
Devil's Pie please save some dessert for us
They make it clear they want a piece of the devil or what he'll promise--please save some for them! Actually they already have a piece of him. Just the background singing alone in the hypnotic style they use, would make the listener think of Lucifer (Satan) constantly. I wouldn't doubt that there is backmasking done on the song as well.
They say "ALLAH LORD" in the song. Jesus Christ is NOT ALLAH. Another lie to confuse those that don't know scripture. Jay Z admits he "never read a bible in my life" but he sure knows how to distort it to twist minds to his evil agenda.

I've watched interviews of rappers in the sound engineering studio talk about how they know certain beats they use literally hypnotizes the listeners. When you are hypnotized, what happens? YOUR MIND IS OPEN TO ALL SUGGESTIONS, OUTRIGHT AND SUBLIMINAL.
This is no joke people! The subject of Hypnotizing is rampant in rap--a few examples:

At the end of the song he slanders Jesus by saying:

Let's slice that pie
Totally the opposite of Jesus' teaching. Jesus told us in Luke 9:25 : "For what is a man advantaged, if he gain the whole world, and lose himself, or be cast away?" This proves there IS a limit: worldly things (riches, fame, power, etc.) are not worth your soul or being sent to hell.
Notorious B.I.G.'s song, also titled "Hypnotize", repeats again & again,
"Biggie, Biggie, Biggie can't you see?
Sometimes your words just hypnotize me."
Three 6 Mafia, (666), whose record label is HYPNOTIZE MINDS by the way, has a woman in the background singing "You're my god-You're my king--You're my father" on their "I Gotta Stay Fly" song. It's disguised enough so that it is not clearly audible unless you listen very closely. You can find an edited (for obscenity) version on YouTube. It may take several times listening to make out what the woman is singing(easier with headphones on). Then, you hear a slick & quick "Lucifer" before Juicy J starts rapping. You cannot find this officially listed in the lyrics, but it's there. The lyrics are already filthy, but they could not forget to worship their god and plant their seed, a DISGUSTING LIE, into the minds of their hypnotized fans. Here is a quote from Juicy J, concerning his favorite song of that album: "Stay fly, because a lot of the records, I hear the music so damn much by the time it's mastered and done I'm already burned out on this song. I play this song over and over and never get tired of it."
What does Three 6 Mafia say in interviews and on their website? "They believe in god." Yes they do! They pay homage to their king, their father, their little "g" god, the Devil. One of them even references a relative who is a pastor as if that somehow makes them holy.
So what! Being related to a Christian is not a given to being one yourself --you can't "inherit" being a Christian. Anyhow, with these statements they're betting they can fool us into believing they're not in allegiance with the devil. Most of their loyal fans will continue buying and listening, unknowingly hypnotize....hypnotize......hypnotizing....their brains.
Each person is responsible for their own salvation through Jesus the son of God. It is a choice you make.
Hypnotic beats, chants, and sound frequences DO affect your mind & body--research yourself and learn the truth. These artists want you to accept Satan just as they have.
Don't be fooled just because an artist cuts a Christmas or gospel album, or are so-called christians......many satanist performers do that. It means nothing to them. I saw Amy Grant's (one of the most popular "christian" artists of our time) music video "That's What Love Is For" where she was dressed in a long red hooded robe, flashing HEXAGRAMS on her palms! Tell me, what place does that symbol of Witchcraft have in a Christian music video? HEXAGRAMS and RED HOODED ROBES are both used in Witchcraft rituals. Hexagrams, according to occult author and Satanist Sean Sellers, "The hexagram is used mainly in witchcraft to summon demons from the underworld, and is said by some to be the most powerful and evil sign in satanism and of all the occult world." The dark man in the background behind Amy is digging up a guitar buried underground. Can you not see the hidden meanings? He is uncovering the underworld. This scenerio has nothing to do with the lyrics of the song! And this video has been removed from the web. I suppose Grant's management realized that it could be harmful to her image. What place does that have in a christian music video?
Please take heed that listening to these listed artists after finding out their agenda could be construed ( by God, who's opinion of us is most important) as condoning their past or present lifestyle, as they felt it was important enough to glorify Satan in their songs either directly or in disguise ( subliminally through backmasking ) to us, the hugely unaware public. The motives for this are sinister to say the least --think about it!
If these artists want to follow and worship Satan, did they have to drag us into it also? Of course they did, because that is the main goal of Satan....... to hurt and destroy people (his enemy), and drive them away from God, (his enemy) either directly or indirectly. He knows the real power of music even if you don't. He knows he can't touch God, but he can surely manipulate human beings to sin. That in turn grieves the Lord because He loves us more than we can fathom, but He cannot tolerate sin.
It is very sad these musicians were willing to give up their (possible) salvation through Jesus and favor with God, for fame and fortune, which is not eternal. They are just pawns being used for the devil's evil deeds.
I wonder how they can sleep at night, knowing what they have bought into for riches and popularity. How they not only sold out their own soul, but wanted it so bad they agreed to try to take us down with them. Maybe that explains why most artists get so deep into drugs and alcohol, not just for partying, but to hide the pain of their conscience. Once you know the truth, it should make you think twice about how God feels about these artists, and the fans who listen, buy their music, and attend their concerts.
You might also want to take note that many of these artists died at a very young age, tragically or suicide. In fact, some deaths were actually predicted by demons to the artists themselves, as the case with John Lennon and several others. A great example is John Lennon: (note: I am not a witness to this song, I haven't heard it forward or backwards. I got this info from www.chemicalbiological.net. However I don't doubt it isn't true, because I researched all the Beatles' occult involvement extensively. The asterisks indicate what I copied.) Mark Chapman, John Lennon's killer, said, "I remember I was praying to God [to keep me from killing Lennon] and I was also praying to the devil to give me the opportunity. … 'Cause I knew I would not have the strength on my own.''
*Before John Lennon was murdered, and after the Beatles break-up, he was still using reverse music methods. "Double Fantasy," the last record he ever made, recorded that he was going to be murdered. Yoko Ono sang the piece, "Kiss Kiss Kiss." When played in reverse, you hear a ghostly voice sing, "Satan is Coming....six six six...." and finally the chilling lyrics, "We Shot John Lennon!"
John Lennon died December 8, 1980. This was a prophetic so-called musical piece. It was in the music stores BEFORE Lennon was shot! No one had a chance to change a thing, according to Yoko Ono. The demons that foretold of Lennon's death knew in advance what they were going to do. It was already on the record. Later, Lennon was shot as predicted. All this lends credence to Mark Chapman's story that he was ordered by Lucifer's demons to kill John Lennon.For some reason, Lennon was no longer useful to the demons. John Lennon was into witchcraft, and his wife, too. They consulted mediums, psychics, and the like with their "familiar spirits".
Yoko Ono claims she STILL TALKS with John today, 28 years after his death! The Bible clearly warns us to stay clear of these occult practices not only because it is a sin and dishonorable thing to disobey God, but for our own safety as well. For those who do not know this warning from scripture, God says:
"There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch. Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer. (NECROMANCER definition: 1 : conjuration of the spirits of the dead for purposes of magically revealing the future or influencing the course of events. 2: Magic, Sorcery). For all that do these things are an abomination unto the LORD: and because of these abominations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee."
In regards to the dead, we are not only warned about calling up the dead, but we are warned that the entity called is not the "departed" but a "deceiving" or "demonic" spirit (1 Timothy 4:1 ), for the spirits of the departed cannot come back (Luke 16:26 ). The Bible cannot be any clearer on this subject: After you have died, your spirit cannot come back, period. If you should have such an encounter, it is a demon disguised as your dead relative or friend. Those who practice these things, whether medium, or psychic, man or woman, regardless of who they may be (Sylvia Browne, John Edwards, James Van Praag, Kevin Ryerson, Char Margolis, Gary Zukav or anyone by any other name), are detestable before God and very dangerous to us. As Christians we are to seek God and Him alone, not spirits. Yoko Ono is speaking with a demon, not departed husband John. I wonder, is she ignorant of this, or deviantly aware?
Obviously, these and most other musical performers BELIEVE in the invisible spiritual world around us enough to become involved in the occult in the first place! And worst of all, we remain blind to the fact and are making them extremely wealthy while their goal is to corrupt us! Sadly, it appears that we LOVE our music and our "right" to listen to what we want to more than God, at our own expense. I can't begin to tell you how defensive people get and their hasty denials when the truths about their favorite artists and music are exposed. Not all react this way, but most do at first, and most people will think this exposee is all a bunch of bull. Funny though, the artists take it VERY SERIOUSLY. Wonder why?
We the consumers, are either unaware, or refuse to believe their evil acts and sometimes hidden meanings in their music are little more than publicity stunts. We refuse to understand how this could affect us. I know I was one of those ( blind ) people at one time and a huge rock and hard rock music fan. Many of the worst offenders were favorites of mine...I loved the music and concerts. The Beatles had been my all-time favorite group since I was 3 yrs. old! Personally, I have went through my own music collection, and have thrown away any music that I know or even suspect that the artist has been linked to satanic or occult practices. As a God fearing person, and even if you aren't, you should still wake up and rid yourself of these belongings and the curse(s) it can bring upon your lives and families. I cannot disrespect God by listening to these artists now that I know the TRUTH. It is also our duty as Christians to inform others about this, and if you aren't Christian, I'm sure you care enough about your fellow man to let him know.
God said His people perish through their lack of knowledge. Satan is extremely clever and deceptive--the Bible says he is the father of all LIES.
SATAN HOPES YOU NEVER HEAR THIS INFORMATION, or better yet, DARE TO BELIEVE IT. Read this once, and then read it again and let the reality sink in that like me, you too were fooled. Don't just take my word for it, do your own research, and learn the truth.

However, I say time and again, don't just take my word for it, research for yourself. The information is out there. If this was based on lies why would I post references? Are you afraid to look for them and see the truth that would rain on your rock god parade?
Your comment "biased piece of trash" is uncalled for. Biased means a strong inclination of the mind or a preconceived opinion about something or someone. I stand by the sections I wrote as 100% truthful and have backed it up. Look online, check out the videos and references! There is nothing "preconceived" (biased) about it! But, certain people will be too lazy to look for themselves, and prefer to rely on their feelings, and BASH someone instead who has taken the time to research.
Look, you and everyone else who can't see past their noses don't bother me, I feel deep sorrow for you. Your emotional attachment to the artists you like is what you base your opinion on, regardless of facts. I agree that the songs should not be taken out of context. From what I have seen and heard, and what is printed here,
they are not. I challenge anyone to watch the Bob Dylan interview videos for example, and try to tell me he did not say what I wrote. I quoted him EXACTLY.
Perhaps you think I was overflowing with joy writing this article, as some kind of a smear campaign. Nothing could be further from the truth. I happen to have liked and owned music from almost all of these artists, including Black Sabbath, at one point or another.
I decided to search out the facts myself to set the issue straight, and what I found wasn't pretty. In fact it was downright devious. It caused me to see that I was just as deluded and misinformed as the majority of the public.
Black Sabbath is just one of a multitude of pawns in the music business—and I explained I used them as an example because of their image and popularity over the years. I was not singling them out. Their gravy train has always been their dark music and satanic lyrics and imagery. THEY created that—not me. Am I saying they are worse than other groups? NO. This activity is rampant in all genres of music.
Again, if these artists want to be involved in satanism, witchcraft, kabbalah, etc…they are free to do so. However I DO have a problem with it when they use their evil influences to try to manipulate our thoughts and emotions, attend their concerts and buy their records filled with subliminal messages, hypnobeats, backmasking, evil lyrics, occult symbols, and all other kinds of evil outright or hidden trickery. Your garbage comment proves your complete ignorance on the subject matter of contemporary music production and what lengths these artists and producers go to to incorporate these methods into the finished music, artwork, etc.
Basically, whether you realize it or not, you're saying you're in agreement with this. Most people in their right mind, when presented with these facts, would be at the very least upset that they have been conned and manipulated with all sorts of occultic techniques. Apparently you don't care, and dismiss all the evidence as garbage, even when it is in your face.

Music plays on the emotions, and that is why people have difficulty separating their feelings from it and in denial of fact based revelation about it.

The band was named after an Italian horror movie featuring Boris Karloff. The first album cover was produced by the record company with no input from the band, and was meant to capitalize on the image the name brought to mind. In other words, it was a record company sales gimmick intended to capitalize on a general interest in the occult in pop culture at that time.
Geezer Butler's "vision" of a dark figure at the end of his bed was a tall tale he tossed to the media to play up their spooky image. Geezer often made up stories like this early in the band's history to feed to the press.

The magazines you quote often sensationalized and misrepresented the band's interviews as the satanic image intrigued people and got more readers.
When you quote the song "Black Sabbath" you conveniently forget to mention that satan is presented as a fearsome figure and one to be avoided.
"Satan's coming 'round the bend
people running 'cause they're scared
You people better go and beware!" doesn't sound as if they're seeking to glorify satan. The other song you quoted, "N.I.B." (which does NOT stand for "Nativity In Black") is about how satan can be a seductive temptor.
