The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork. Psalm 19:1. This gives just a glimpse of God's handywork that declares His glory. God the Father, creator of all things; powerful & mighty, yet He loves us so much that He gave His only Son Jesus Christ as a sacrifice for OUR sins, so that we could have a relationship for all eternity with Him. What a wondrous love is this!
If you're not already familiar with S M Lockridge's "That's My King!" - then you should be! He speaks for six minutes about Jesus and it's impossible not to listen without being touched by the wonder of our Lord.
Warren Smith was a spiritual seeker. That journey led him down a yellow-brick road of pied-piper spirits, landing him in a metaphysical New Age where the Christ proclaimed wasn’t the real Christ at all. In this video, Warren discusses, The Shack, a book described as a “Christian” novel and was ranked number one on the New York Times bestseller list for paperback fiction. The book conveys postmodern spiritual ideas and teachings that challenge biblical Christianity – all in the name of “God” and “Jesus” and the “Holy Spirit.” Warren exposes the New Age spirit that is emeshed in the book as well as some of those who endorse the book such as author of The Message, a paraphrase of the Bible, Eugene Peterson and Rick Warren. This video sheds great light on much of the false teaching that is emerging in many churches today.
This part 2 of a message I created in April of 2008. It was lost for a time, but I was able to retrieve it. I've learned a lot since recording this video about cameras, (that's a really good thing! lol), but more importantly about the Bible. Some things haven't changed though. Today, more than ever we are bombarded with the message of having things our way. That's not how it should be. If Jesus the one and only Son of God came to serve rather than be served, why do we as His Body seek to be served? I pray that this message will bless and encourage you.
This stunning glimpse of God's masterpiece is meant to glorify Him and draw the viewer to new places of intimacy with Him.
In 1873, Horatio Spafford wrote the words to the hymn "It is Well with My Soul" after the tragic death of his four daughters. (He wrote it on the ocean while sailing near the spot where his daughters died.) Very moving.
Kids being tempted by marshmallows teach us about delayed gratification and gives us some insight as to how Satan tempts us.
I love John 1 "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God and the Word was God...this Word was made flesh and made His dwelling among us! Praise God! Jesus came as a tiny babe, which is worth celebrating, but remember what this child's purpose was....He was born to die for our sins. He grew, preached, healed, performed miracles...and died on a tree. He who knew no sin, became sin for us. The story doesn't end there! HALLELUJAH!!!! Jesus Christ conquered death and rose from the grave and NOW sits at the right hand of the Father making intercession for us! In Christ we have victory and life everlasting! Think on these things this Christmas and may the LORD fill you to overflowing with His love, peace and joy!
Another message given to you in song and word. God be praised and thank you for you prayers and encouragement! "Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come. Now all these things are from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation, namely, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and He has committed to us the word of reconciliation. 20 Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were making an appeal through us; we beg you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God. He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him." 2 Corinthians 5:17-21
