Let us keep in mind that Christ came unto His own. John 1:11. Christ was born to be the Saviour of Israel. Acts 13:23. Christ, the Stone, had to be rejected by Israel, the Builders Matthew 21:42, before the salvation of Romans 11:11 would be sent to Gentiles to provoke Israel to jealousy. Today we are considering the meaning of the statement in Romans 1:16...TO THE JEW FIRST.To the Jew first, and also to the Greek...Romans 1:16. In Mark 7:24-30 we learn that the Jew was more than first, and the poor Greek had a difficult time getting in at all. The twelve apostles asked the LORD Jesus to send her away without a blessing, Matthew 15:23. Then Christ said...I am not sent but unto Israel in Matthew 15:24. Christ said to that Greek woman this significant thing...let the children, the Jews, FIRST BE FILLED, AND, It is not meet to take the bread of the children and cast it to dogs. That is in Mark 7:27.Let us keep in mind that Christ came unto His own, John 1:11. Christ was born to be the Saviour of Israel...Acts 13:23. Christ, the Stone, had to be rejected by Israel, the Builders, we see that in Matthew 21:42, BEFORE the salvation of Romans 11:11 would be sent to Gentiles in order to provoke Israel to jealousy. One of the most important keys to the truth concerning Gentiles salvation by Grace is the truth of Acts 5:29-32...that Christ was raised up TWICE to be the Savior of Israel...first in incarnation, and second in resurrection. This same truth is stated in Acts 13:23 and Acts 13:30-36. Christ said that His own, the children of the kingdom, would be cast into outer darkness. Matthew 8:12. After that He wept as He pled with them. Luke 13:34-35.But as we turn from this sorrowful message of Christ in Luke 13:34-35 to Matthew 23:30-39, we turn from compassionate love and indignation to awful wrath and indignation, for, in Matthew, the children of the kingdom who were to be filled FIRST, were called serpents and a generation of vipers. Matthew 23:33. This seems to be worse than the Gentiles. The Gentiles were dogs. The Jews were serpents and vipers, far worse than dogs. They were to have something worse than the darkness of Matthew 8:12, even the damnation of hell. Matthew 23:33.But as we think of Mark 7:26-27 and Matthew 23:33, and, the serpents and the dogs, let us also think of what the Apostle Paul said, years later, to the Jews...the serpents, first and ALSO to the Greeks...the dogs. Romans 1:16.With all of that said...here is the LLM Question for 6-14-2013: Is the Order of God Today to the Jew First? Respond at http://www.lionandlambministry.com/index.php/todays-question

There is not a Christian anywhere who IS obeying Ephesians 3:9 that does not know the difference between the Gospel of the circumcision and the Gospel of the uncircumcision. Between the Gospel of the Kingdom and The Gospel of the Grace of God. If you do not, you need to get on that today. In the last sixteen chapters of Acts we find no record of any missionary or spiritual activities of the twelve apostles EXCEPT as they had dealings with the Apostle Paul. However, we DO find the agreement of Peter and the Eleven with Paul in the Jerusalem council, where it says...Wherefore my sentence is that we trouble not them (the Gentile Christians), which from among the Gentiles are turned to God. Acts 15:19 and Acts 15:24. Read the text of this message in full at http://lionandlambministry.com/index.php?option=com_content&id=710

When the Nation Israel rejected Jesus Christ in Resurrection, as well as in Incarnation, the heathen, or rather the gentiles, obtained the mercy of God because of the unbelief of Israel. Romans 11:30. Also the believing heathen obtained the righteousness of God as did Abram, the uncircumcised heathen, before the birth of the nation Israel, 430 years BEFORE the Law was added. In Galatians 3:16-19 the Apostle Paul explained to the foolish, bewitched, Christian Gentiles in the Galatian assembly, that Abram was declared righteous, WITHOUT circumcision and WITHOUT religion, 430 years BEFORE God ADDED the Law and the religious program of Israel at Sinai. Hebrews 9:10; Romans 5:20; Galatians 3:19. The ADDED Law did not annul, or cancel out, the Gospel of UNcircumcision which God preached to Abram. As Christians, we make a BIG mistake when we limit the meaning of the word Gospel, or good news. There is MUCH good news for Saints AFTER they are saved by the Gospel of 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 from the penalty of sin, and by which Gospel they become saints. Christians either do not know, or have never learned, or have forgotten, that there is the Gospel or good news FOR Saints AS they are perfected, according to Ephesians 4:10-14! The Apostle Paul was in the Roman jail, as a criminal, because he was trying to make saints see the Dispensation of the Mystery which he called...my Gospel. The Apostle Paul was NOT in the Roman jail for the saving Gospel of 1 Corinthians 15:1-4, but for the unprophesied Mystery of the Gospel, which was NOT according to the Scriptures, or in fulfillment of the Scriptures; but rather according to the eternal purpose of God in Christ. Ephesians 3:11. Read the text of this message in full at http://lionandlambministry.com/index.php?option=com_content&id=706

The Kingdom of Heaven, that was at hand FOR Israel, when Jesus of Nazareth and His twelve apostles were preaching the Gospel of the Kingdom in the land of the Jews, will be at hand AGAIN when the King shall come back. AFTER this Dispensation of Grace comes to a close, the Gospel of the Kingdom shall be preached AGAIN as a witness among all nations. When Christ said, in Matthew 24:14, the end would come, He was OBVIOUSLY NOT referring to the end of the earthly ministry of PAUL. The end to which Christ referred in Matthew 24:14, did NOT come when the Gospel committed to Paul had been preached in all the world, Colossians 1:23. You see, the tribulation of Israel is the chief subject of Matthew 24. And the end of the Age, in THAT chapter, must be the end of an Age DIFFERENT from this present Age of Grace. A Lamp in the Dark is an exciting new documentary that unfolds the fascinating “untold” history of the Bible, revealing critical information often overlooked in modern histories. Enter into a world of saints and martyrs battling against spies, assassins and wolves in sheep’s clothing. Throughout the Middle Ages, the Papal Inquisition forbade biblical translation, threatening imprisonment and death to those who disobeyed. With the Fall of Constantinople, ancient Greek manuscripts came into Europe, and with them, the clear streams of understanding that would bring about the Protestant Reformation. Learn the lives of men like John Wycliffe, Martin Luther, William Tyndale, Myles Coverdale and others, who hazarded their lives to communicate the Bible in languages people could understand. Once the common people were able to read the Bible, the world was turned upside down through the Protestant Reformation. The Reformers subdued whole kingdoms by preaching the grace of God, and exposing the unbiblical doctrines of Rome. But what is little known is that Rome launched a Counter Reformation with the intent of destroying all the works of the Reformers. Could this be the key to the

Every once in a while there comes a movie which, firstly never lets you take your eyes off the screen for the full length of its feature and secondly, makes you want to watch it over and over again without boring you. Not only that, the more times you watch it, you feel that you missed something the last time. Cecil B. DeMille THE TEN COMMANDMENTS is that kind of a movie. There have been many movies made on the topic of this Hebrew born prince of Egypt, but none compare to the way in which it has been portrayed in THE TEN COMMANDMENTS from Cecil B. Demille.

Faith, obedience and other positive character traits can be taught through The Story of Elisha. As a fiery chariot from heaven took away the great prophet, Elijah, his mantle fell upon his frightened protégé, Elisha. From then on, Elisha would be God’s mouthpiece. This story spotlights Elisha’s ministry of miracles, from healing a soldier’s disease to restoring life to a young boy. Compare Naaman’s trust of Elisha, whose obedience resulted in being healed of leprosy, with Gehazi, who was cursed for seeking riches while doing God’s work.

You Can't Take it With You is a very funny and entertaining film. Bringing Up Baby is probably the only film that has ever made me laugh as hard as this one. James Stewart and Jean Arthur are magical together, just as they were in Mr. Smith Goes to Washington. Stewart's character comes from a rich and completely uptight family. Miss Arthur's is the only relatively sane member of a very wild family. Lionel Barrymore is wonderful as the grandfather here. He is so warm and funny in this movie, it's hard to believe he's the same man who played the evil Mr. Potter in It's A Wonderful Life. Edward Arnold who was known for playing slimy villians, is great as Stewart's very wealthy and totally stuck-up father.
