Nice to have the opportunity to see this film once more. I first
saw it in 1979 when I was 24. It helped me towards following Jesus Christ and I follow the Lord to this day.
A black-clad Johnny Cash appears in and narrates this version of the story of Jesus' life, death, and resurrection, which was shot on location in Israel. Cash performs a number of original songs in his signature style. There are few films or movies I consider favorites over the years. The Gospel Road was one of them. I watched this as a young teen.
