The Lion and Lamb Ministry's Beliefs

Our Doctrinal Statement

We believe in the verbal inspiration of the Bible. The Bible is inspired by God in its entirety, and is without error in the original autographs, a complete and final written revelation from God.

We believe that there is only one God, who is eternal and immutable, and manifests Himself in three distinct Persons; Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

We believe that Jesus of Nazareth is the promised Messiah, born of a virgin, totally without sin, God in human flesh, the One Who died on the cross for our sins, was buried, rose again from the dead on the third day, and ascended to the right hand of the Father in heaven, where He now intercedes for us who believe in Him. Therefore, we believe in the Eternal Deity, Virgin birth, and sinlessness of Yâ-hwéh Yâhuwshúa`, The LORD Jesus Christ, as both the eternal God and Man.

We believe that He, The LORD Jesus Christ, is the living glorified Man at God’s right hand, seated far above in the highest Heavenlies, Head of the Church, which is His Body. The LORD Jesus Christ, is going to return in the clouds for His Body before the tribulation that is coming on the WHOLE earth, and that He will return with His saints and all His holy angels to the earth at the end of the tribulation, and set up His kingdom on earth, ruling and reigning forever and ever. Therefore, The Body of Christ will be called on high to be with the risen Christ, like Him, to appear with Him in Glory BEFORE He returns to Earth as the Son of man to redeem and restore the Nation of Israel.

We believe that all humanity is lost and born with a sinful nature, and can only be saved by The Faith in the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ, and not by any human merit or performance. Salvation by Grace. By Grace ALONE without works, through The Faith of Jesus Christ, in the shed blood and redemptive work of The LORD Jesus Christ.

We believe in a personal Devil, called Satan, who, along with all his fallen angels, and demons or evil spirits, are destined to spend eternity in hell, and now seek to deceive the world, defeat the believers, and destroy the work of God, but can be resisted by believers, who are protected by God and the intercession of Jesus Christ our Lord.

We believe that heaven is a real place where the saved will dwell forever, and that hell is a literal place of torment where unbelievers will suffer forever. We are absolutely, uncompromisingly, opposed to any doctrine of universal reconciliation which we consider a Satanic delusion. We are likewise opposed to any and all doctrines of annihilation, accepting God’s Word; eternal wrath for the lost and eternal glory for the saved.

We believe that genuine believers are born again by the Holy Spirit of God, and are indwelt, baptized into the Body of Christ, and sealed by the Holy Spirit, and thus, unable to be separated from the love of Christ. We believe that the redeemed sinner, saved by Grace alone, is eternally secure in The LORD Jesus Christ, accepted in Him, blessed with all spiritual blessings in Him, and free from condemnation in Him. If the believer falls asleep before Christ calls the Body on high to meet Him in the Air, at the Harpazo, the Rapture, prior to the start of The Great Tribulation, he is immediately with the LORD. We are absolutely opposed to any and all doctrines of “soul sleeping”.

We believe that true Children of God are indwelt and empowered by the Holy Spirit to live a godly life and to be bold in our witness for The LORD Jesus Christ, as Ambassadors for Christ in the Ministry of Reconciliation. We believe that the greatest of all gifts is love, and that the Child of God in Christ should manifest that gift and live a consistent, spiritual, separated life, ever seeking those things which are above, ever walking worthy of the vocation wherewith he or she is called. "Who hath saved us, and called us with an HOLY calling" 2 Timothy 1:9

We believe in the spiritual unity of all genuine believers in the Lord Jesus Christ. Concerning “rightly dividing the Word of truth” 2 Timothy 2:15 , we believe there is much to be learned. We believe it is altogether essential to distinguish between and “Test the Things That Differ” (Philippians 1:10 ). One specific example is to know the difference between the call and ministry of the Twelve Apostles and the call and ministry of the Apostle Paul, AND, to know the difference between the Apostle Paul’s ministry BEFORE and AFTER the close of the “Acts” period. We believe that members of Christ’s Body should obey Ephesians 3:9 and Ephesians 4:3-6 .

We believe that the nation of Israel has a special place in God's plan, and that all of the promises of God to Israel will be fulfilled.

So There You Have it!

@Brendon,

Upon the human race sin and death reign by Adam and Moses, the Law of sin and death and the Law of the Ten Commandments, the ministration of death, ordained unto death. (2 Cor. 3:7 and Romans 7:10). But there is no condemnation to them who are in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1), because of the efficacy, value and power of the Law of Life in Christ Jesus, in accordance with Romans 8:3, John 10:17-18, Romans 8:28, and 2 Timothy 1:10.

Now hear the good news IN Christ Jesus, “That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh but after the Spirit.” (Romans 8:4). “That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.” (Romans 5:21). “Be it known unto you therefore, men and brethren, that through this Man (Christ) is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins: And by Him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses.” (Acts 13:38 and 39). Dwell on this blessed and glorious good news. The heathen to whom Paul preached were not under the law before they were saved by grace, and certainly not thereafter. (1 Corinthians 9:20-25).

I hope this helps

First, thank you for this wonderful web sight.
Second, I speak in tongues and I also attend a Baptist University, and on this point there is much misunderstanding the issue of speaking in tongues and the gifts of the Holy Spirit which are spoke of in 1Cor12&14. On this point we are born again when we repent of our sins and except Jesus' payment the Holy Spirit resurrects our dead spirit thus we are born again at this point and we have the Holy Spirit at this point and are. It is another event for the immersion of the Holy Spirit and the speaking in Tongues. But it is not required to be saved, or else the thief on the cross beside Jesus could not of received salvation. The church of Jesus Christ was founded on the revelation that He is the Christ the Son of God and not on Peter. The Holy Spirit rested of Jesus then He did mighty signs, wonders, and miracles. So thus, in John 14:12 stated that his followers would do the same things HE did and greater. But, this did not really happen until the day of Pentecost when the Holy Spirit rested on the 120 in the upper room. then they raised the dead, healed the lame, opened the blinded eyes.... It takes faith, but, it is the Holy Spirit doing the work through your obedience.

Hi David

You say

"We believe that all humanity is lost and born with a sinful nature, and can only be saved by The Faith in the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ, and not by any human merit or performance. Salvation by Grace. By Grace ALONE without works.."

When you say salvation by grace ALONE, does this mean that man needs to be regenerated by God(Eph 2) before he can come to faith?

That's how I see it.

With all the false doctrines and counterfeit "Christianity" out there, it's good to know that there are a few select ministries that still hold to sound biblical doctrine.

Satan and his demons know that their time is short and they're working overtime with deception in the church, false religion and cults, immorality, introducing new ways to sin to the world, brainwashing unbelievers, etc. We need to stand firm in Christ and put on the full armour of God daily to withstand the fiery darts of the enemy.

Jesus is coming soon!

God Bless,
Danny

Hello! What do you mean when you say, "We are absolutely opposed to any and all doctrines of “soul sleeping” and do you believe that the wicked will suffer forever/eternally or destroyed forever?

Thanks!

Thank You for your wonderful site and writely dividing the word of truth 2 timothy 2-15.
Many of the ministries today are flawed and fall short, thus leading people astray.
But thank God you are on the right path and many Blessings to you. Your reward is Great in Heaven.

I'm a missionary in the Democratic Republic of Congo and I just came across your site. Are you familiar with the Grace Gospel Fellowship based in Grand Rapids, MI? How about Grace Bible College in Grand Rapids and Grace Ministries International? www.gracem.org. GMI is our sending organization. I am excited to see your website. I was specifically looking for studies on spiritual warfare. I believe the Church began with the ministry of the Apostle Paul and that water baptism and sign gifts were for Israel. There is a strong charismatic movement in Africa and many of their practices are being copied by believers in our Grace Churches of Congo. Many of the believers are uneducated women and I'm struggling to know how to approach certain issues with them (chasing demons out of church, buildings, etc "in the name of Jesus" stated like a talisman. I would like to teach on prayer and I wondered if you knew of any especially good resources. Thank you!

Thank you for your ministry. It has been a blessing I am watching the Rev series and have never been so satisfied with your explanation of the churches. I want to know if prophecy is being fulfilled in this the parenthetical period, Age of Grace. Many Grace Churches teach that it is NOT for this dispensation, but God will start the prophetic clock once again at the churches removal. Is Israel's existence fulfillment of prophecy or is it a counterfeit Israel. , who will accept the AC? Is on Eagles Wings being fulfilled now or is it millennial . I really need an answer.
